“This is billionaire talk, mind ya business!” 🤠
Dear Community,
It was amazing to meet Fawn Weaver (pictured left), Founder & CEO of Uncle Nearest, Inc. at the African American Museum’s event hosting her “Love & Whiskey” book tour in Philadelphia.
I’ve been heavily influenced by the Uncle Nearest story and Fawn’s business strategies for growth and longevity. If you’re not familiar, Nearest Green is the enslaved Black man who taught Jack Daniel how to distill whiskey.
I even got to meet Victoria Eady Butler (pictured right), Green’s great great granddaughter, and the first African American woman to be named a Master Blender.
Next time you’re enjoying Jack Daniel’s whiskey, or even better, Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, just know that these billion dollar brands were only able to achieve their success due to a process perfected by enslaved Africans in America.
As a master of PR and marketing, Fawn Weaver has amplified the legacy of Nearest Green to unprecedented heights, and that story has made her a billionaire.
We’re taking notes at BVP Coffee Co. and have something very special on the way…
I mean, “What’s better than one billionaire?”…
