The BVP Manifesto
A Ten-Point Program for the 4th Industrial Revolution
1. We Demand Innovation as a Human Right.
Innovation must not be reserved for elites or monopolies. Every community has the right to create, own, and benefit from the technologies that shape our future.
2. We Demand Ownership of Supply Chains and Infrastructure.
We will build and control the systems — from farms to factories to AI data stacks — that sustain life and commerce. No more dependence on extractive corporations.
3. We Demand Equitable Access to Capital.
Through tools like CAFE IRL (Convertible Agreement for Future Equity + Income Repayment Loan), we democratize investment, so everyday people share in the upside of the ventures they power.
4. We Demand a Just AI Future.
Automated systems must be designed to protect civil rights, prevent bias, and empower rather than exploit communities. BVP will develop agentic AI lighthouses that communities govern and co-own.
5. We Demand Education That Builds Builders.
We will expand BVP University and Free Breakfast programs so that youth, workers, and entrepreneurs gain mastery in entrepreneurship, AI, robotics, and cultural innovation — not just as users, but as inventors.
6. We Demand Circular, Sustainable Economies.
We will lead in building circular supply chains in food, energy, and manufacturing, aligning with global calls for decarbonization and resilience.
7. We Demand Housing, Work, and Health Anchored in Innovation.
Our portfolio companies will treat housing, work, food, and health as innovation deserts to be irrigated with new technologies, business models, and cooperative ownership.
8. We Demand Community Wealth as the Metric of Success.
Every venture must create jobs, pathways, and ownership opportunities in multicultural communities. Returns will be measured not only in capital gains but in generational wealth creation.
9. We Demand Global Solidarity.
We will build direct-trade and innovation partnerships with Africa, the Caribbean, and the Global South, ensuring Black and Indigenous communities everywhere share in the value of the new industrial era.
10. We Demand Land, Data, Bread, and Peace.
As the Panthers demanded land, bread, housing, and peace, we extend this to the digital age:
Land → physical + digital infrastructure
Bread → equitable livelihoods
Data → community-controlled knowledge
Peace → security through innovation that heals, not harms

BVP will be the studio that makes the 4th Industrial Revolution equitable. We reverse-engineer inequity, reimagine supply chains, and build ventures across every frontier where our people must thrive.
Ambitious framework bridging tech innovation with community ownership. The extension of the Panthers' demands to include 'data' as infrastructure is particulary sharp given how much value extraction happens through data collection nowadays. I'm curious how the CAFE IRL model handles downside protection for small investors compared to traditional convertible notes, since equitible access matters less if people get burned on bad bets.
