I took this picture 10 years ago after pledging the same fraternity as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

That fraternity is Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, and our mission is to develops leaders, promote brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

In hindsight, that decision was wise, of that I have no doubt.

Today, of all days I am motivated, highly motivated, to remain steadfast, to keep the faith, and continue the march Onward.

To the Youth, your time is now, you have everything you need amongst your community.

Without love for the fellow man, darkness prevails. Pay attention to those who lead with love, and those who lead with hate.

The future is yours, and the Light of the world resides within you.
