In our very first Free Breakfast session, we went deep; blending smoothie recipes, ancestral reflections, and global business vision into one powerful conversation.

🌍 Garry’s Journey to Lamu, Kenya
From the sandy dunes of Lamu to barefoot walks through ancient alleyways, Garry shared stories of deep cultural connection, Islamic history, and unexpected lessons from new friends like Sharrif and Salim. A dead phone battery led to a lesson in community, and an eventual dream: building a Kenyan-inspired BVP Bed & Breakfast where local traditions and global culture intersect.
🛶 Boats, Baobabs & Breakfast
Garry told of sailing a handmade dhow, eating fresh Swahili breakfasts, and learning about the power of mangrove forests — all while envisioning sustainable, community-rooted expansion. The vision? BVP Kenya: part café, part classroom, all rooted in culture, nature, and reciprocity.
🧠 Ancestral Intelligence in Action
We reflected on what it means to tap into our A.I. — Ancestral Intelligence. From recognizing Swahili words like “Mambo” and “Rafiki” to understanding that Africa lives in our DNA, this conversation reminded us that we are not becoming African. We have always been.
